Te Omanga Hospice is a charitable trust that provides specialist palliative care to patients and their whānau in the Hutt Valley living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Personable and friendly, must be able to relate to all types of people and build an effective level of rapport within a short period of time. Ability to read situations effectively and tailor responses to reflect the needs of the situation. Effective communicator in situations requiring tact and diplomacy. Able to answer queries and explain instructions.
Able to adapt well to change and absorb new tasks
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Professional telephone and face to face manner
Excellent word processing and database skills (competent with Microsoft Office Suite)
Experienced in customer service and administrative role
Experience working in a health environment preferred
