Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organised administrator to join our Support Services team in this permanent, full-time position located at the Hospice in Lower Hutt.

This Clinical Services and Education Administrator is a new role and will include providing support to the Clinical, Education and Family Support Teams.  

You will support our clinical management team with various administrative tasks including organising meeting agendas, taking minutes, following up action items and occasionally planning team-building events for our clinical committees and teams. You'll also assist with clinical communications,  reports and project administration for the Clinical Action Plan.

Supporting the Education Team will be another key part of your role. You'll help with the annual ‘Yearbook’ and course marketing, processing course registrations, and ensuring everything is ready for the course days, including arranging catering, volunteers and other resources as required.

You'll also provide daily relief reception cover for meetings and breaks in the Inpatient Unit, answering calls professionally and processing patient referrals. Additionally, you'll provide back-up medical typing when the Clinical Typist is on leave.

Desired Skills and Experience

We are looking for that special someone with strong organisational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 

Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential.
